General Election November 5th, 2024
• REFORM WELFARE: I believe that we should be taking care of folks who fall on hard times. We’ve all had a tough stretch in life and some folks need some support while they get back on their feet. My concern is that we’ve turned that safety net into a hammock. We owe it to taxpayers to make sure benefits go to those who need them most and are used as a hand up not a perpetual hand out.
• PRIORITIZE ADDICTION TREATMENT: Nearly everyone I talk to has been impacted by the drug epidemic. We need to work with the Brewer PD, Sheriff Morton, and with medical professionals in the treatment space to create a real plan to get folks off their dependence on chemicals and back into the workforce.
• SUPPORT PRO-JOBS POLICIES: It’s time to change our attitude and do all we can to help and welcome small businesses. By simplifying regulations and making it easier to grow jobs, Maine can be, once again, a place where folks could find a career that supports their families.
“I’m Pat Jude. I went to school at UMaine Orono and I live in the area that you might know as the “Robinhood neighborhood.” I work with my wife Jenn Morin, as a broker at Trinity Business Brokers. Jenn also happens to be the Mayor. If you told me 5 years ago we were going to be a “political family,” I would have laughed, but this feels like a critical time for our state and I’m ready to do my part. I’d be honored to earn your vote this November!” - Pat
